What is Bag Mix Concrete

Fulfilling demands of concrete in some of the most congested and inaccessible areas is the need of the hour. Especially considering the limitation of infrastructure development and challenges in developing countries where easy to transport, store and shift can be a gamechanger.

Bag mix is a proportional blend of high-quality materials including well graded fine and coarse aggregates, ordinary Portland cement & special concrete admixtures. It improves the construction practices including reliability, quality as well as viability in small quantities in addition to increasing productivity and speed, minimizing wastage and cost, and space constraints. The product saves all the turmoil of unprofessional, inconsistent, unreliable, maladroit quality of concrete, multiple vendors, large number of unskilled laborers, time consuming, and wasteful raw material storage.

Bag mix comes in two forms – wet and dry. It provides the luxury of using the bag mix, particularly dry bag mixes as per the desired requirement. The shelf life of the dry bag mix is 15 days and can be used as per site readiness.

The product can be customized and designed for retention upto 12-24 hours and does not allow concrete to set for special requirement. Since bag mix concrete is produced in automated ready mix concrete plants, its quality is assured. The workability is enhanced too as it allows placing and spreading easily without applying too much pressure. Additionally, placing orders is very easy and saves time since they can be directly supplied on the site.
